Brendan O’Shaughnessy, a 1993 University of Notre Dame graduate, is a writer for public information and communications at the University of Notre Dame. Before returning to Notre Dame in 2009, he spent seven years as a journalist in Indianapolis and seven years as a high school English teacher in Chicago and Central America. He is also the co-author of two children’s books about Clashmore Mike, the original mascot of Notre Dame football.
